Hana Technologies, Inc. (HTI), located in Twinsburg, Ohio, is a corporation that specializes in manufacturing services for small products that require semiconductor packaging, microelectronics assemblies, liquid crystal technology, and many combinations and variations thereof.  HTI also has high-volume lines producing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) devices. With a long tradition of quality, having been ISO 9001 certified for the life of the company, and its recent ITAR registration in 2013, HTI is positioned to support all of its current and future customers with their unique manufacturing needs.  HTI is a proud member of Hana Microelectronics Group family of companies.

 Dr. John Erdmann has over 25 years of experience in LC-related endeavors. With his PhD from Kent State University, John has been a researcher at the Liquid Crystal Institute, General Motors Reserach Laboratories, and Hughes Aircraft Co. While a Senior Project Engineer at the research labs in Malibu, CA, John consulted for the Hughes-JVC joint venture in LCLV-Projector manufacturing. As Director of LCD Manufacturing at Three-Five Systems, John was responsible for designing and building the largest LCD line in North America. John then set-up the manufacturing operation for S-Vision before starting HTI. Ed has over 30 years of experience in the LCD industry. Prior to coming to HTI, Ed has served as a process engineer and in engineering management for LXD, Litton Data Images, and Crystaloid Technologies. His experience includes LCD development, Manufacturing, new product introduction, and quality in display applications ranging from industrial and commercial to avionics and aerospace. Ed was one of the key people involved in Crystaloid's certification to the ISO 9001 quality management system and had primary responsibility for HTI's successful certification to ISO 9001. Ed has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Cleveland State University. Scott has over 30 years of experience in the Microelectronics and LCD industries doing everything from hands on production line management to installing fully automated LCD equipment lines. He has performed many roles throughout his career, ranging from R&D to operational management. Scott created several SMT and module production line operations from design to full capacity. Before coming to HTI, Scott was an engineering manager with S-Vision, overseeing the first wafer-scale manufacturing line in the world. Prior to that, Scott was with Kenix, where he lead the installation for the largest LCD line in North America at Three-Five Systems.

Paul has over 25 years of experience in the LCD industry. Prior to coming to HTI, Paul has served as an Account/Program Manager and managed the design team for Crystaloid Technologies. As an Account Manager/Program Manager, he focused on expanding the customer base while managing the existing clients who used displays in applications ranging from industrial and commercial to avionics and aerospace. Paul was a top-producing manager, which helped him directly impact business growth and profitability. Paul has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Akron.  Matt has over 20 years of experience in multi-faceted manufacturing and management. During his career, he has held positions in Research & Development, Manufacturing Engineering, Plant Operations and Site Management. Matt's diverse industry experience includes chemical, coatings and plastics processing, metal stamping and plating, adhesive compounding/coating and robotics. His quality systems knowledge includes ISO 9001, TS-16949 (automotive), ISO 13485 - 21 CFR 820 (medical device) and ISO 14001 (environmental). Prior to joining HTI, Matt served as the VP of Operations – VWR, Solon, which is a contract manufacturer of medical devices. Matt earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from the University of Akron.
